Oven Broiled Lamb Chops

In our house the grill takes a strong first in preparing lamb chops or steaks, however oven broiled cuts are a close second.

Chops


Rump steak


The process is extremely simple.


Preheat your oven on the broil setting, usually 15-20 minutes.

Season both sides of the the chops or steak with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Place on a pan with a roasting rack.

Broil approximately 3 minutes per side or until internal temperature is 140 Degrees Fahrenheit.


Let rest 5-8 minutes after removing from the oven.


Serve hot with your favorite side dish!


Tempurature Reference

Rare: 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit Medium Rare: 130-135 degrees Fahrenheit

Medium: 135-145 degrees Fahrenheit

Medium Well: 145-155 degrees Fahrenheit

Well Done: 155 and up
